Jurispedia has developed on the initiative of the Équipe de Recherche Informatique et Droit (Faculty of Law of the University of Montpellier I (France), the Faculty of law of the Can Tho University (Vietnam), the team of JURIS (Université du Québec à Montréal, Canada), and the [[:de:Institut_f%C3%BCr_Rechtsinformatik_(Saarbr%C3%BCcken)|Institut für Rechtsinformatik]] of the Saarland University (Germany). The project is open for cooperation with other worldwide law teams.
