- Lucius Fox is the current business manager and corporate executive of Wayne Enterprises. A close friend and confidante to Bruce Wayne, with whom Fox frequently acts as financial liaison, Fox's actions are, albeit indirectly and unknowingly, responsible for many of the resources that go towards the development of the Batman's gadgetry and crime-fighting equipment.

Fox is called in to the failing Wayne Enterprises and brings a balance to both Waynes private and business finances, including heading the project that produced the prototype that would become the Batwing. In addition, he also manages the particulars of the Wayne Foundation as well while Wayne dictates the organization's general policies. Since then, Fox has been approached time and time again by other companies seeking his expertise. After overcoming the original challenge of returning Wayne Enterprises to its glory, Fox has elected to stay, having been given an unparalleled freedom in the company.
- Lucius and Bruce are in a lab analyzing Raphael's sai that Batman took from the turtle. He explains to Bruce that the weapon and the turtles are from a parallel universe. Lucius further explains that Doctor Nahveen Khan was once an employee of Wayne Enterprises and that he was beginning the construction of a trans-dimensional portal. However he further explained how Raphael's sai was coated with mutagen and that the mutagen effects were beginning to wear off. Plus the final missing component to build the portal was in Central City, so then Bruce dawned his batsuit to get to it before the Shredder and his men could.

In time, Lucius became the CEO of the company. Fox saved Wayne Enterprises from financial ruin, and his quick-witted business savvy and strong ethics helped the corporation to prosper.
- Lucius Fox is a fictional character appearing in Batman comic books by DC Comics. He was created by Len Wein and John Calnan, and first appeared in Batman #307 (January 1979). As a supporting character, he acts as Bruce Wayne's business manager who apparently unknowingly runs the business interests that supplies Batman's equipment needs as well as financing his operations.
