Liverpool were involved in one of the greatest European Cup finals in 2005, when after being 3-0 down at 54 minutes, they came back to equalize 3-3 by the 60th minute. They then went on to win on penalties.

The phrase is also on their club crest. Other chants include "You're too good to be true" for Steven Gerrard, a song about Fernando Torres to the tune of "When Johnny Comes Marching Home" and "We all dream of a team of Carraghers" (sung to the tune of "Yellow Submarine") about Jamie Carragher.
