He played junior hockey for the Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League from 2004 to 2008. He then joined the Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks of the NCAA. The team dismissed him in December, 2011. He then joined the Condors. Hudson was not drafted by any NHL team.
