- The Fates is the first VVIP character set featured in CrossFire. They are composed of three female characters (known as Judge, Magistrate & Order). One for Global Risk, one for Black List and the other one is specifically meant for Mutation and Zombie Mode.
- The Fates are three faerie sisters, who control the destiny of every women and men. They're aunts of Titania, Malicia, the Weaver of Dreams. They are also known as the Three Fates.
- The Fates, the Moirai, were the goddesses of fate in Greek myth. They wore white robes and controlled the destinies of all mortals. They are sometimes considered to be siblings of Thanatos, and like Thanatos were inflexible. In the Mythos, Boris Yvain famously realised them in sculpture.

There is a hot debate on who is more powerful, the Fates or Zeus. It’s been argued that he tells them when to end a life and they merely serve his whims. But they created the Final Fate, who is indeed the most powerful of the group. Out of jealousy that their unborn brother Apostolos would be more loved by Archon, the Fates accidentally cursed him when they were young, scared girls. They are the reasons why his life sucked for thousands of years until he met the love of his life Soteria Kafieri.

As a general rule, the Fates work with the other deities to determine the proper times for a person's death and it seems that any Olympian of sufficient rank can order or delay the death of a mortal (such as when Ares ordered the Fates to cut Xena's thread if she interfered with Hope). Zeus's authority is the one the Fates hold in highest regard and Atropos will not cut the thread of someone under his protection. The Fates' connection to or relationship with Celesta is unclear, but it is possible that the rightful time for Celesta to collect a soul is when Atropos cuts it. In spite of their membership in the Olympian pantheon and their respect for the authority of Zeus, the Fates are aware of events and destinies beyond the pantheon. Most notably, they were aware that the Twilight of the Gods was at hand and informed Zeus and Hera that there was nothing that could be done to prevent it. Later on, they gave Xena a cryptic clue as to how to kick-start Twilight and unsurprisingly, they did not assist the Olympians when the final battle began. The fate of the Three Fates is unclear- after Gabrielle destroyed their loom to return history to normal, it is possible that they and their control over destiny ceased to exist, though since they survived Twilight in the first place, it is possible that they survived, content with their threads.
