- It randomly during the quest "Machines of War". After the player passes the Arreat Gate it can be found on the battlefield. The Soul Ripper can be found in the area in Adventure Mode. Clearing the Foundry is a bounty in this mode.

The Foundry portrays itself as a bastion of safety from the horrors of the outside world, offering comfort, food and shelter to its people in exchange for their service. This is supported by its role as a weapons manufacturer, where it trades firearms and armour for supplies, all the while fuelling the violence around it.
