| - In an effort to bond with the guys, Tom takes them on a camping trip. Season: 3 Episode: 1 Total Episode Count: 44 Prod. no.: 3BQT01 Featuring: Tom, SpongeBob SquarePants, Taylor Also Appearing: Shubie, Tyler, Vera, Lenny, Sandals, Harold, Fred, Sally Smith, Gus, Evil Sea Monkey, Fern Stapleton, Kyle Stapleton, DeeDee, Bryon, Carl, Mr. Flippers, Ric Flair, Elaine, Connie, Muff Plot: When Tom finds out that SpongeBob stopped by Ukulele Bottom but didn't visit with him, he decided to go to Bikini Bottom to see SpongeBob himself. After getting the brush-from SpongeBob, Tom decides to bond with the guys. Searching out bonding experiences, the guys decide on a camping trip hosted by Ric Flair. While canoeing to a gathering place, the guys upset their canoes and are tossed overboard. Gathering themselves on the bank, they become lost and are found by a group of hillbillies who plan on raping them. When Tom understands what is about to happen, he makes a break for it but the others fail to get away. Tom finds himself at the intended gathering spot and after a spa and massage, goes back to rescue his friends. Tom is caught as well but before he can be raped, SpongeBob and the Evil Sea Monkey come to their rescue. SpongeBob admits he had second thoughts after Tom left and after therapy from dealing with abandonment issues from his father thought it was best to avoid the same feelings with Tom. Tom reminds SpongeBob that they are and will always be friends. Meanwhile, Taylor gets invited to a reunion of his daycare graduation. While there, Shubie feels she hasn't pushed Taylor to advance himself as the other class mothers have and Shubie has Taylor compete in a Quiz Bowl tournament to prove that he is just as smart as the other kids in his class. When Taylor bombs at the Quiz Bowl, he demonstrates a thorough understanding of practical knowledge rather than trivia and he leaves triumphantly with Shubie.
