Originally, The Fairly OddParents ended alongside Jimmy Neutron with the third crossover special, Jimmy Timmy Power Hour 3: The Jerkinators. The movie was meant to serve as the series finale for both cartoons, but it was poorly received and did little to wrap up loose ends in the plot, instead seeming more like another episode of OddParents rather than a series finale.
