- Robert Anderson (b. 1957) was the husband of Darcy Anderson, and the father of Donald and Petra Anderson. In 1982, he was hired to audit Joe Ransome Chevrolet, where he met Darcy Madsen. In 1984, the two were married, and had two children: Donald in 1986, and Petra in 1988. In 1986, he and Darcy started a small mail-order business in collectible American coins. He and his wife eventually bought a house in Pownal, Maine. By 2006, he had been made a partner at the Benson and Bacon accounting firm, and he and his wife moved into a new house on two acres in Yarmouth, Maine.

- Bob Anderson (September 15, 1922 – January 1, 2012), born Robert James Gilbert Anderson, was the swordsmaster who played Darth Vader in his various fight scenes in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. He replaced David Prowse due to the actor's tendency to break lightsabers. Because of the height differences – Anderson was 6'1" (1.85m), while Prowse was 6'7" (2.02m) – Anderson's scenes were filmed from a lower angle to make him seem taller, or he stood on some small stilts or wore platform shoes. Anderson later did swordfighting choreography and training for films such as The Lord of the Rings trilogy (with Christopher Lee), the Zorro movies with Antonio Banderas and the James Bond film Die Another Day (with stunt performer Jim Dowdall).

Anderson drove for DW Racing Enterprises in 29 Grands Prix over 5 seasons, scoring 8 World Championship points including one third place.
