Thanks, CBT, for the nomination. And in advanced, thanks to anyone who votes on me. File:Smile.gif --Victor (talk) 19:00, 24 June 2007 (UTC) 1. * I would like to raise the question, why is there such an ongoing vote for new admins and burea's lately? I have heard that it can't hurt, but I think it's all to soon. So if someone can drop me a line, that would be great. Thanks, bye. Darth taderMandalore battles 12:14, 25 June 2007 (UTC) * I know. A couple of months ago, we only had around 5 admins, now we are getting more and more. I guess it's with the increase of users. --Trask Ulgo

Darth taderMandalore battles 14:46, 26 June 2007 (UTC) * No offence or anything Squishy, but do we really need another bureaucrat so soon? Darth Abeonis Sith Council Sith Campaign 18:30, 26 June 2007 (UTC) * I agree. Our one bureaucrat is enough for now. -- Knowledge the Article Writer talk * Yeah, do you all know what bureaucrat powers give? They just give you the power to make new admins and give rollback. Thats not really important. Obviously someone has to do it, and it certaintly doesn't hurt, but I honestly don't see the need for it. PinkyTalk 20:52, 26 June 2007 (UTC) * Of course I know what power bureaucrats have. But seeing as how C3PO has been recently absent or fairly active as I put it (on the Administrators page), what would be so bad about having 2 bureaucrats? One to take the place of the other in case of absence. I am mostly active every day, as much as I can be, but for awhile now, I have rarely seen C3PO around. This way, also, I can do the duties such as assigning rollback (after elections) when/if C3PO cannot. If you guys don't want to vote, then that is fine by me, I see no problem with it. --Victor (talk) 01:11, 27 June 2007 (UTC) * Well obviously we don't have to vote. Anyway, I suppose it really doesn't hurt to have another 'crat though its certaintly not neccessary. I probably won't vote though simply because it would just be really redundant. PinkyTalk 01:48, 27 June 2007 (UTC) * If we have two bureaucrats, that would mean that the position is less technical and more political. Obviously, the service is needed about once a month, and I'm on plenty more frequently than that. I know I'd be able to carry out me duties well enough, so another bureaucrat would only make sense if a bureaucrat had "veto" power when electing admins, which I somewhat discourage, as suggesting it would make me sound power-hungry. --C3PO the Dragon Slayer 6,000,000 forms of communication | Dragons I've Slayed File:Sabersmilyc3po.jpg 18:29, 3 July 2007 (UTC) * And veto power would establish bureaucrats as "higher" than other users, which shouldn't be done. Pinky49Talk 18:48, 3 July 2007 (UTC) * So basically, you want to be the only bureaucrat. Which you would be, had Neomessiah not returned. --Victor (talk) 20:14, 3 July 2007 (UTC) * * I have no problem with Neomessiah's return. In fact, I'm actually grateful that he's back. Multiple bureaucrats would mean that the end of admin elections is a race for the bureaucrats to press the buttons first. I already anticipate this with the next elections, including this one. I don't think that should be the only thing that comes with a new bureaucrat. --C3PO the Dragon Slayer 6,000,000 forms of communication | Dragons I've Slayed File:Sabersmilyc3po.jpg 22:21, 3 July 2007 (UTC) Bureaucrats are supposed the be the most influential users and the "leaders" (not to make choices or dictate others, but to be the "public speakers" of Star Wars Fanon) of the site, is what I believe. If there were to be some sort of "Wiki" discussion between the "leaders" of all wikias (which would never happen, more than likely), then it would be the bureaucrats who would be called upon to represent the site in general. That's what I think a bureaucrat does. Represents and does what they can to help the wiki. --Victor (talk) 05:26, 4 July 2007 (UTC) If bureaucrats speak for the site and are to be unofficially acknowledged as important, then you'd be a great bureaucrat and it would make perfect sense to add a new bureaucrat to the CABAL, for the sake of checks and balances. (I'm not saying we're a government.) If a bureaucrat is to the Fanon wiki as a High Priest is to the Good Article selection (advises, reviews, offers opinions to guide voters, but has no actual power above that), then I guess I should support you. Then again... looking at the votes you already have... File:Smile.gif --C3PO the Dragon Slayer 6,000,000 forms of communication | Dragons I've Slayed File:Sabersmilyc3po.jpg 15:43, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
