Clambo is an aquatic enemy in Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong Land. It always remains stationary, but this does not mean it is cannot defend itself. Armed with a limitless supply of pearls, Clambo spits pearls at Donkey and Diddy Kong as they approach. The number of pearls Clambo spits out varies. Some spit one, others two, yet others three and there are even a few that spit five. Timing is critical when moving vertically against a barrage of pearls while the Kongs must bypass the Clambo. Clambos are found in each aquatic level, excluding Poison Pond. They cannot be defeated, not even by Enguarde.

  • Clambo is an immobile clam enemy appearing in Donkey Kong Country. These enemies spit one to five pearls and cannot be defeated in any kind of way so thus they must be avoided. They appear in the levels Coral Capers and make their final appearance in Clam City as the main threat of the level. Clambos reappear in Donkey Kong Land acting the same as they did in Donkey Kong Country and sre yet still not defeatable. They have another leader along with King K. Rool called Colossal Clambo.
