- Honor among the Kencyrath is one of their defining characteristics: Arribek sen Tenzi describes them as "the race best known in Rathillien for a certain—ah—inflexibility in matters concerning honor". Honor appears to be largely defined as adherence to the Law, the rigid code handed down the generations and possibly derived from the Kencyr God. The rigidity of the Kencyr Honor Code is relaxed for Kencyr priests as they are frequently mind damaged. In addition ingorance of the dishonorable nature of a deed is considered an exceptable excuse by the Arrin-ken.

For a victory without honor is like a well without water--empty, and useless. Honor is the mortar that binds friends and the foundation upon which to build a future. Men who fight dishonorably are building their empire on sand.--Caradel Bluestride, Order Commander, speech before the last stand of the Divine Company
- Honor is a vague term referring to the building of honor points via PvP to gain rewards. Prior to the Patch 2.0, it was also the label for the tab on the player character's paper doll window that displayed the honor earned by the character; after the patch this tab was renamed "PvP". However, the tab still retains its "H" key shortcut to display.

- Honor was a hard-working, faithful young servant of the Good Faith Church. She was also a member of the church's specialized group, A.P.U., which stood for "Abstinence Purifies Us." After Honor locked up the diner where she worked for the night and left some leftovers next to Slim, who was slumped and snoring against the building, she walked to her car. She became aware that someone was watching her, and started to panic. She ran, but fell and dropped her car keys under an SUV. She crawled under the vehicle to retrieve them. A dark figure appeared and lifted the SUV while surrounded by bright blue light. She was knocked out and abducted.

- Honor is perhaps most well known for its fickle yet always temperate weather. The planet is regarded as a symbol of perfect balance by Taoists, many of whom have made their home on the planet. Both Taoist and Shaolin Buddhist temples are a common sight. Not surprisingly, Honor features a sizable Asian population. Honor's inhabitants have deliberately kept the planet relatively low-tech by unspoken agreement. As a result, most modern trappings are often hidden away from plain view. Even the spaceport is a frequently overlooked feature by tourists.

- It's best to do it to people higher than your city honor because you will then lose less honor for losing an attack, and gain more honor than winning. Despite its prominence in MvM, its only real use is for achievements that give AP/Game Center Points/Google Play Points. The only other use is just for showing off one's strength in BMC, which is rather trivial.

- Lacking a set of laws, or, in fact, any legal system outside of the Litany, personal Honor is one of the most important facets of a Garou's personality and reputation. A combination of integrity, honesty and fairness, Honor is the Philodox's arena, where the Garou can excel through just and proper actions. Often forgotten in the heat of glorious battle, or suppressed in the interests of intellectual success, Honor is the most difficult type of Renown to garner, but often the most respected. To be Honorable, in the eyes of the Garou, is to adhere to a code of ethics no matter the consequence. Frenzy is the honorable Garou's nightmare, as any vile deed might take place behind the veil of rage.
- The definition of honor varied widely between cultures, as did the importance placed upon it. Honor was normally synonymous with dignity and referred to the upholding of one's values. The Klingons were notorious for the emphasis they placed on honor. This may have been a more abstract way of viewing honor. But, as notions of honor were often very subjective, putting emphasis on clear objects (i.e., victory) made the Klingons able to deduce the honorable conduct (i.e., means used to achieve victory).
- Similar to the concept of a "karma meter", Honor is a numerical measure of how "good" the Hero is. A high Honor shows that the Hero is righteous, self-sacrificing, and kind. A low Honor shows that the Hero is dishonest, selfish, and even cruel. Honor is not something that is truly needed like a skill would be. A Hero can complete his adventure with any measure of Honor, high or low. A Thief, for example, will tend to have a low Honor due to his propensity for theft. Honor is mostly a personal measure.
- Honor acts like karma in Calradia; virtuous deeds increase your honor whilst unethical deeds decrease it, resulting in correspondingly positive or negative consequences. Your character's honor starts at 0, and can range from -99 to +99 (except in Warband where the range is greater). Unlike Controversy, honor will not change due to the passing of time.
