Das Spiel wurde bis zum 14. Dezember 2007 ca. 2,5 Millionen-mal verkauft. Im Spiel geht es darum, dass man etwas für den Pharma-Konzern Abstergo, mithilfe von Erinnerungen seiner Vorfahren, in der Gegenwart findet.
