  • A transport vessel of the Island Nations Federation Navy which was lost c.SY 390. Before its final voyage, a hidden bounty of a legendary pirate was discovered, containing treasure but also dozens of working Rune Shells, the first such discovery for decades. The Rune Shells were quickly loaded onto the Kerzalik at a Nirva Island fleet base and the ship set off for Obel. However, the vessel never made it to its destination, disappearing without trace. In the year 450, it was discovered that the Kerzalik had been gutted at the Ship's Graveyard in the seas near Nirva Island, either by the treacherous reefs or, more likely, by the dangerous monster Dagon. The ship was investigated by officers Yahr and Nelis (along with the unofficial help of Bernadette Egan and Prince Freyjadour Falenas) and the stock of Rune Shells were found, in mostly working order, as well as a group of pirates whom had hoped to take the stock for themselves, but had also become stranded. After using the Kerzalik's functioning Rune Cannon to destroy the Dagon with a single blast, the choice was made to destroy the Rune Shells, as the group felt they were far too powerful. The official story as reported to the Obel Maritime Council was that none of the Rune Shells were in working order and that they were disposed of in the correct manner
