A flyaway is a flip done while swinging off of a bar, branch, pipe or other such object. There are two main types; a flyaway gainer and a reverse or inward flyaway. A flyaway gainer is a backflip done while swinging forward off the bar, while a reverse flyaway is a frontflip performed while swinging backwards off the bar.
