When Alan is knocked unconscious by falling rocks, Galen and Pete bring him to the nearest village with Galen posing as an archaeologist. Prefect Koro shows Galen some old artefacts he has found: old vinyl records by the Beatles. While Alan is treated by human leader Jefferson, Galen discovers the human population are kept subdued by the cult worship of a ruined fighter plane ("Jefferson's airplane"). On Alan's recovery, the three go to the plane to see if they can salvage anything, but in doing so they provoke a riot by the humans. To escape, they launch the plane's missiles but the plane is then destroyed by another rock-slide.
