Margaret Evelyn Richey (née Countess; 12 February 1877 - 10 April 1987) was an American woman notable for her longevity. She was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama as the daughter of William and Rebecca Countess. She graduated from the University of Alabama and worked as a teacher until marrying Harvey W. Richey and moving to Texas. The couple settled in Waxahachie and had six children. They later retired and moved to Georgetown, Texas. She was widowed in 1941. Margaret Richey died in Georgetown, Texas on 10 April 1987, aged 110 years, 57 days.
