The 1946 Goodall Cup was the 25th edition of the inter-state series between Victoria and New South Wales. The series ended in a tie, with each side winning, drawing, and losing a match. New South Wales, the holder of the cup, retained its custody, but were not champions as it is often incorrectly reported. They would retain the trophy until 1947. It was the first time the Goodall Cup was played since 1939.
