The Hull to York Line is a railway line in Northern England. It runs from Hull north-west to York, via Selby. Between Selby and York services can take one of two routes. Most services run via Sherburn-in-Elmet, but there is also a more direct route which follows the East Coast Main Line to Hambleton Junction, calling at fewer stations. A few trains continue through to the Yorkshire Coast Line - this involves a reversal at Hull. Originally services between York and Hull used the York to Beverley Line, which was a shorter and more direct route. This was closed in 1965.

Services on the line are provided by Northern Rail, who run 1 train per hour each way between Selby and York and 1 train every two hours between Hull and York, Mondays to Saturdays. A limited service runs on Sundays.
