The Doyle Cup was the Canadian Pacific Region Junior "A" Championship. The winner moved on to the Canadian Junior' A' championship also known as the Royal Bank Cup. Both the Doyle Cup and the Anavet Cup were retired after the 2012 season and replaced by the Western Canada Cup. The new tournament is held involving the four western provinces (and a host team) to send two qualifiers to the Royal Bank Cup.
