The following period saw occur which is the major turning point in the evolution of the group: the arrival of brother Daniel, Mickael the guitar. Back to a more "classic": guitar, bass, vocals and rhythm box… The group began to give concerts on a more regular pace, and sort a few years apart two 45 laps to win very limited. The first contains a duet bass / voice, Mediterranean Widow and a piece very batcave, Hebenon Vial. The artwork consists of a black and white pattern of the plants roots embodies endless diving group in a musical uncharted territory. Mediterranean Widow, a piece out of time and where the atypical low weaves melodies around his voice distant Lucas, a testament to this transition and the second 45 laps door to a new level. Consisting of Lindsay's Trachea on its first face and Greensward Grey on the second, surpassing the previous record output of the group. The artwork of the disc is made up of butterflies at different stages of their existence and a group photo on stage. There are the words of Mediterranean Widow and Lindsay's Trachea. The group has meanwhile put up for sale on mp3.com a mini album entitled… Falling caterwauling which contains live versions of old songs and a new title, Speak Marauder, the story of a scarecrow taking life and thereby stroll. In 2002 fate which is the masterpiece of the group. The album released in 2002 is the first real album of the group as a work conceived as a whole: The Astonished Eyes Of Evening. The musical ingredients are always the same, sometimes embellished piano, an acoustic guitar and an omnichord. The output of the group is following the cabinet discussed above, consisting of the first demo of the group in its original version and then replayed the same songs 10 years later. This object is disappointing. Apart from the lack of unity cabinet, updated versions of songs are not a lot of interest. Is this a way to show a willingness to return to the sources? It seems to mark the renunciation of the group to air his side in favour of energy. It was at this same period as the concerts are more rock and less melodic. The group has become much more energy but loses much of the magic he managed to create… Then in 2005, is a DVD titled Pressed Flowers / Squashed Blossoms that fate. Finally, summer 2006 saw the exit of the 3rd album, entitled Fourteen Examples From Triomphe De La Musique Decorative. Consisting of two discs, one for the album and one containing two new read by Lucas, this album is quite confusing. Some have seen a regression in relation to the above opus, vision that defends itself if one considers the low sound quality of some of the album and the lack of unity. The sequence of songs is much less fluid, much less voice breathtaking visuals much less worked. It is less a "work" a compilation of songs. This album still contains its share of fascinating pieces, always based on the story of stories and create musical atmospheres strange. Alternating once again instrumental passages energetic and hypnotic, the album gradually gaining momentum and concluded with a series of three pieces a rare energy, including the fantastic "Molars" long piece flirting with the post-rock.
