The Jordan 193 was a Formula One car constructed by Jordan for the 1993 Formula One season. It was driven by Rubens Barrichello and Ivan Capelli at the start of the season. Capelli left the team by mutual consent after two races, being replaced by Thierry Boutsen. Boutsen retired from Formula One after the Belgian Grand Prix and was replaced by Marco Apicella for the Italian Grand Prix, but Apicella retired from a first-lap multi-car collision, sometimes considered to have the shortest Formula One career out of any driver. He was replaced by Emanuele Naspetti for the Portuguese Grand Prix, but was replaced by Eddie Irvine for the remainder of the season.
