Fitzgerald is a character who appeared in the cartoon show episode "The Littlest Giant". He is Simon's pet bear, who keeps the boy company like a living teddy bear. When Gargamel paid Simon a visit after he was returned safely home, the boy's father Nelson confronted the wizard and chased after him along with Fitzgerald.

However, the operation was a trap set by Ezekiel Daun, a bounty hunter hired to kill him. When Daun cut the coms to the station, FitzGerald left his post to see what was happening, and was shot twice and killed by Daun. Raynor and Findlay used his body to charge Daun, then picked FitzGerald's master key off of his corpse.
