The Sathari were a species of demon assasssins known for carrying four poisonous blades. One of these demons was sent by Angel on a mission to kill Drogyn as part of his plan to deceive and infiltrate the Circle of the Black Thorn. As Angel had expected, Drogyn defeated the assassin and tortured him for information; the Sathari revealed Angel wanted to keep secret his involvement in the resurrection of Illyria. This "revelation" was another piece of Angel's deception.
