| - China Galland in the author of The Bond Between Women which received BOMC and One Spirit selections, the award-winning Longing for Darkness, as well as Women in the Wilderness and her most recent book Love Cemetery. Galland was born and raised in Texas. She is currently a Professor in Residence at the Center for the Arts, Religion, and Education at the graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California, where she directs the Keepers of Love Project. She lectures, teaches and leads retreats nationally and internationally on religion, race, and reconciliation. She lives in northern California with her children and husband Corey Fischer who is an actor, writer, director, and co-founder of Traveling Jewish Theatre.
