- Drums are a musical instrument that can be played by Sims. Drums were first introduced in The Sims 2: University, along with the guitar and bass. Drums are not available in The Sims 3 base game, but were re-introduced in The Sims 3: Late Night expansion pack.

- Drums are occasionally considered to be "awesome", but that's only by those who attend high school as students. Teachers, parents, pets, lawyers, doctors, authors, writers, and etc. view them as annoying and would just love to, one night while you're asleep, take a fucking crowbar and beat the shit outta your drums so you can't play them anymore. That would release a lot of stress for them.

- During his time in The Beatles, Ringo Starr has played six different drum kits. 1.
* Premier Mahogany Duroplastic drum kit, the one Ringo used during The Beatles' first recording sessions. It contained a 8" x 12" Tom, 16" x 16" Floor Tom, 14" x 20" Bass Drum, 4" x 14" Snare Drum, and three cymbals. 2.
* Ludwig Oyster Black Pearl "Downbeat" drum kit. Ringo's first Ludwig kit was purchased from Drum City in London and was actually delivered to Alpha Television Studios in Aston, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England. The Beatles were making their first appearance as headliners on Thank Your Lucky Stars. Ringo last used his Premier kit during the rehearsal of this show and used his new Ludwig kit for the performance. It contained 8 x 12" Tom, 14" x 14" Floor Tom, 14" x 20" Bass Drum, 5.5"
- Spinning Drums are medium-to-large vertical spinning weapons which are generally wider than flywheels. The first Robot Wars competitors to be equipped with them were Suicidal Tendencies, Blade and Challenger 2, all of which appeared in Series 3. Despite their popularity in outside competitions, especially the USA, they have rarely been seen in Robot Wars, with notable examples including Dutch Series 1 champion Slicer, UK Series 6 champion Tornado and Series 8 Grand Finalist Pulsar.
- Drums are a type leatherworker-crafted charged consumable item introduced in World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. When played, the drums create a short range area of effect spell around the drummer. Depending on the type of drum used, this can either affect party members or enemies.
