  • Cable's history is exactly the same as that of Earth-616's Cable up until the Marvel NEW! relaunch. After he was re-infected with the Techno-Organic Virus, he felt something different this time. The Virus has adapted to its main weakness, telekinesis. While inside him, the virus damaged most of his telekinetic powers, leaving him only minor telepathic powers. After the virus left him, through the powers of Hope Summers, Cable still had a loss of his powers and trained harder to succumb to those powers. Along with a highly update Psimitar, Cable has proved to be a great mutant despite his weak powers. Cable was drafted into X-Force due to his amazing abilities with firearms and blades.

Telepathy: Cable still retains his powers to read and communicate between people, however his other powers have seemed to be lost. Time Travel: Cable still displays the power of time travel, hinting that this power isn't related to his telekinetic nor his telepathic powers.
