Hruhron was a druid of the relatively small - but once very respected - Roanfeather tribe, and he followed the path of feralism. He was born in Desolace where he grew up alongside his twenty year old younger brother, Grauhr. Half a year after the arranged marriage took place, Hruhron took on a dangerous mission on the behalf of the Cenarion Circle. Echoes of the twisted Emerald Dream had begun to appear in the Stormrage Barrow Dens in Moonglade. He did not come back the same day, as planned, and was later found dead in one of the Barrown Den's chambers.

  • Hruhron was a druid of the relatively small - but once very respected - Roanfeather tribe, and he followed the path of feralism. He was born in Desolace where he grew up alongside his twenty year old younger brother, Grauhr. Once Hruhron reached maturity, he was taught the ancient ways of a wilderness stalker. To the great joy of his tribe's elders, it came naturally to him. The solitude and the respect for the world and it's spirits soon became his whole life. He spent his days in almost complete isolation for eight years, until it was time for his brother to finish his stalker training. Grauhr failed the last test, and could haved died in the wilderness if Hruhron hadn't stumbled upon his dehydrated body. Disappointed by the elders' carelessness - how could they send his brother on the dangerous last test without making sure he was ready for it? - he decided to train his brother himself. During the years they spent together in the wilderness, Grauhr became a stalker almost as skilled as Hruhron himself. But it didn't last very long. Merely thirteen years after Hruhron found his brother, the third war began, and demons of the Burning Legion came to Desolace. The brothers returned to their tribe to defend them against the great evil. The united threat of the centaur and the demons finally drove the Roanfeathers from Desolace. With their newfound orc allies, the tauren tribes - including the Roanfeathers - drove away the centaur from Mulgore, and Thunder Bluff was built. From that day, the tribe has been reciding in the great tauren city atop the mesas. In the aftermaths of the third war, the tauren began to practise druidism. This new way of life appealed greatly to Hruhron. A druid, just like a wilderness stalker, respected nature and sought to keep it's precious balance. He decided to walk this new path, and his brother followed him shortly. With his background as a stalker, Hruhron quickly picked up on the feral skills, and chose the path of feralism. During his life, Hruhron had had a few relations, albeit brief ones. But it was not until his 78th year he finally found love, in the young shaman Keeyakee Stormdancer. But the Roanfeather elders did not approve of the union. Even though the tribe had lost much of it's status during the last years, they would not accept anything but the best for their gifted son. Blinded by their pride, they forbade Hruhron to see the taureness, and quickly arranged a marriage with a woman named Halfa from the much more respected Runetotem tribe. If he would decline the offer of marriage, he would cause his tribe a great deal of shame. He could do nothing but accept, even if it hurt him greatly. He did meet Keeyakee one last time, to give her his precious amulet, swearing her his undying love. Most people saw the death of Hruhron Roanfeather as nothing but a very tragic accident. Though, his brother Grauhr had a different opinion. He thought it was the Roanfeather elders' fault - if they had not forced him away from the woman he loved, he would never have risked his life in the Barrow Dens. Shortly after Hruhron's death, Grauhr left the tribe. Today, Hruhron's ashes can be found in an unmarked grave in Moonglade. Next to him rests the ashes of Keeyakee Stormdancer, whom followed him in death three year later.
