The House of Flieder is one of the oldest noble lines in the Imperial Crownlands of Greater Hulstria and cadet branch of the House of Rothingren-Traugott; the current head of the House of Flider is Rudolph, Duke of Flieder, a descendant of Ferdinand I of Hulstria through his only daughter, Archduchess Augusta, and as such is in the line of succession to the Hulstrian throne. The line was established when Ferdinand I granted his infant nephew Kyril, the title Duke of Flieder at his christening. Since then the Flieders have also encompassed the titles of the Duke of Luthorische Bai and the Margraves of Greifβtein and Treuburg. The Flieders have a long history of being involved in political affairs, often associating themselves with the Imperial Hulstrian Party.
