- The Death Star is a giant space station located in the region of nowhere space next to some asteroids. It has a giant laser that will kill and vaporize everything that it touches and is powered by Shoop Da Whoop. Stormtroopers are found inside the station and Darth Vader runs the place. It's also a prison but the prisoners are neglected like most prisons. There was two Death Stars because they put in a self-destruct hole twice. Everyone who works there now is dead or not being a sith worker.

- Death Star is a novel in the Star Wars Expanded Universe, written by Michael Reaves and Steve Perry. Perry also wrote Shadows of the Empire. Reaves wrote a few episodes of the old Droids and Ewoks television shows, as well as Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter and the Coruscant Nights Trilogy. Prior to Death Star, the two authors worked together to write the Medstar Duology. They re-use characters and details from one anothers' previously-written works with some regularity.
