The Kirisame Family is one of the oldest families of Kirigakure, as the First Mizukage, Byakuren Kirisame, was born of this family. However, after the death of their Mizukage and illustrious leader, the clan slipped into obscurity after a series of weak leaders. However, some time after the end of the Fourth Great Shinobi War the family regained its power and drive, and started to make themselves known again, gaining renown and infamy for the ability which made their first leader so powerful; the ability to freely manipulate mist and water vapour. Although this method may now be widely known among Kiri shinobi, the Kirisame take this ability to never before seen heights, able to manipulate mist into different shapes, whilst still maintaining properties associated with a more material form,
