Peter treats the guys to drinks and they convince him to make bets with the other dads. With the guy's help, he cleans up as Chris racks up the strikeouts. As the guys enjoy their money, Chris makes the news and they fear that it will tip off their suckers, indeed, the betters avoid them so they hatch a plan to get people to bet for Chris and then have him fail with Peter's influence. But when Lois finds out that Chris is imbibing in alcohol in order to lose the game, she confronts Peter about it. He admits his scheme so she calls him a jackass and orders Chris to do his best to win, despite that Peter may lose his shirt on the outstanding bets. He tells the guys and they decide to take action on their own, although they believe that Peter was secretly implying this course of action. Disguising themselves as high school students, they attack Chris and break his pitching arm. They tell Peter the “good news” and he rushes to Chris' side, only to find out that he isn't upset because he believes that he can pitch just as well with his other hand due to working out from masturbating and proceeds to break Quagmire's arm with a pitch. Later, Peter reveals that Chris managed to knock out his coach and then pitched the rest of the game so badly that Peter and the guys win their bets, although Peter ended up kissing a guy over another matter.
