After preforming the hand seals, the user will produce ten torii which can suppress a Tailed beast's influence over the user, or another jinchūriki. When Raian preforms this technique at the Falls of Truth, he trapped each of the Nine-Tails' tails with one torii each, and then held the beast's body in place with the tenth. This completely subdued its chakra and allowed him to seal the chakra away in another portion of his mind; effectively allowing him to control it. The user can also reshape the ten torii into a cage like formation by interlocking the wooden structures.
