Synopsis
  • Frankenstein, the Bride, and the Creature Commandos fights an endless hoard of spider-like creatures. The team are totally unprepared for this situation and hopes of attempting an exit strategy are dashed given the Egg they rode on is damaged from the landing and very slowly repairing itself. Suddenly, Khalis raises his staff and requesting his teammates to cover their eyes. A blinding light is created from Khalis' staff which instantly decimate the creatures. Khalis falls unconscious. The Commandos are taken surprise by Khalis' power, in which Frankenstein inquire Father Time of what Khalis is but is rebuff as being "classified". Ray Palmer debrief that Khalis have completely wipe out the spider creatures on the entire continent and allowing them to enter "Phase Two". Palmer explains that the planet is closing in on the portal beneath Bone Lake and needs the team to eliminate the ogre creatures and sea monsters before the planet makes it to Earth. The conversation, however, is interrupted by a large seismic occurrence that is happening at a nearby mountain. The "mountain" opens up to reveal a titanic-size spider creature. Despite its size, Frankenstein and the Bride attack the creature much to the disbelief from the Commandos. Frankenstein is then eaten whole by the creature, forcing the Bride and the Commandos to flee from it as it gives chase on them. However, the creature stops and begins to convulse, as Frankenstein slash out of the creature's body along with tearing out its vital organ, killing it for good. Given the appearance of the spider creature, S.H.A.D.E. concludes that there are likely two other titan-size creatures on the planet and need them to be slain before the planet reaches Earth within three hours. Frankenstein then plans to have his team separate into two to dealing with the creatures: Frankenstein and Nina will deal with the sea monsters, while the Bride, Griffith, and Velcoro deal with the ogre creatures. Khalis is left behind with the Egg. As they set out to for their respective creatures, Father Time and Palmer are alert by Agent Belroy of a new developing situation happening in Vietnam; in which Belroy has pick up a distinctive personal energy coming from the country, and suspects it to be "him". This somewhat greatly concerns Father Time as Frankenstein appears to be the only one who can deal with this individual. Suddenly, their psychics are behaving erratically and repeatedly crying out "help me". Belroy realize what is happening as the psychics are channeling a message directly coming from the Dead Space planet itself.
