The Baptist Caravan Fellowship is a national organization that is made up of Christians from many differing church backgrounds that rally together for fellowship and to serve smaller churches mainly in rural areas. This ecumenical nature is also reflected in the churches which invite the BCF for a rally. Founded in 1968 by Mr & Mrs Dennis Single the first rally at Woodbury Hall Sandy Beds had eight families joining together. From these small beginnings there are now members from most areas of the country. More information can be found at the Baptist Assembly or from ACCEO.

  • The Baptist Caravan Fellowship is a national organization that is made up of Christians from many differing church backgrounds that rally together for fellowship and to serve smaller churches mainly in rural areas. It is affiliated to the Baptist Union of Great Britain and a member of the Association of Caravanning and Camping Exempted Organisations (ACCEO). Under an elected overall committee the area rally officers produce an annual rallying program which sets out the rallies for the year, an average of twenty or so are planned normally covering England and Wales. Whilst seeking to minister to churches primarily, the BCF does aim to have at least 3 rallies a season just for it’s own fellowship and recreation. The BCF has planning exemption under the ‘Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act 1960’ granted by DEFRA. This enables it to hold rallies of up to 28 nights on land which it has proper permissions. The BCF observes Codes of Practice such as the Caravanning Code and Countryside Code and others, and always aims to protect the environment around its rallies. More information can be found at the Baptist Assembly or from ACCEO.
