Kalthar apparently remained in Orgrimmar, as he was at Thrall's side when Rexxar brought a wounded orc — the first victim of Zmodlor's Burning Blade cult — to the city a few years later. The Urganas gave him the name Kalthar meaning “God-Son.” He learned to speak to animals and when he reached manhood, Kalthar was given a gift from the witch doctor, Talo. Kalthar is given red grains of growth which allow him to grow up to fifteen feet tall. The green grains return him to normal. Besides growth and animal communication, Kalthar also had some invulnerability as he survived both bullets and explosions. His enemies include Abdul the Arab, Queen Loha, Pierre LeBrun, Leopard Men, and the Hordes of Shem. Kalthar marries Kate Goodwill, the daughter of Professor Goodwill.
