  • Aliases * The Essence of Nature * The Natural Order Alignment * True Neutral Portfolio * Nature * Hunting * Balance The Gaia was not a deity as such, but rather the natural order of the world as first set forth by Allanbay: the relationship between hunter and hunted, the turning of the seasons and many other things are controlled by the Gaia. The magic of the Gaia was so powerful that it eventually took on a life of its own and was worshiped by druids as an independent entity. Much knowledge of the Gaia was lost during the Second War of Fate, and druids often follow Allanbay or Sorn instead after the war, although the Asgar Tribe still worshiped the Gaia. In certain places, especially where the earth was touched by the poisonous blood of the god Phykrell, the Gaia became warped and corrupted: this is known as the Tainted Gaia. With the surface of the Mortal Plane hostile to life, The Gaia can be considered for the foreseeable future one of the casualties of the Final Fatewar.
