Player Select is a term used whenever a member of the group sides with a person who is about to play a Mario Party game. Justin coined this term, wanting to make a game out of it since he had noticed that people who weren't playing still enjoyed watching the game and wanted to root for particular players to win. He set up a system to reward people who sided with the player that ended up winning, and to punish people who sided with the player that ended up losing. Once a spectator sides with a player at the beginning of the game, they must stay with that person for the rest of the game.
