The core, without any stability from the bloons, fades away. You are rewarded with the amount of money that one bloon in the trio rewards. For example, if you kill all the bloons in a Green Bloon Trio, you are rewarded with 3 money. * and as explained before, where you destroy the core. However, this would be more difficult since the bloons surrounding the core would constantly provide as shields for the core. However, if you DO manage to destroy the core, you get the amount of money you would normally get. (i.e. having a blue bloon trio, then destroying the core rewards 2 (blue bloon RBE) x 3 (amount of bloons going around.) The only MOAB-class bloons that this can happen to are MOABs, BFBs, and ZOMGs. MOAB trios first appear on round 70, BFB trios on round 120, and ZOMG trios on round 190. If the bloon that is destroyed has children, they would appear on the trio too, except really close to each other. In bloons and blimps that release a lot of children, they would be bunched up very tightly, making it harder to destroy all of them. Very rarely, there can be a chance where when you destroy the core, you get 10x the money you normally would. As there are more trios per round, the chance diminishes by 0.01% per round. The chance on the first round is 3%. This means that the chance to get 10x the money diminishes by round 350.
