Bryan Bartlett "Bart" Starr ( born January 9, 1934) is a National Football League hall of fame quarterback and the 22nd President of the Confederate States of America. Despite being drafted into the "Yankee League" out of college and spending several years in the United States as quarterback of the Green Bay Packers, Starr returned to the Confederacy after retirement where he became involved in politics, and was eventually elected Governor of his home state of Alabama before being elected president of the Confederacy.
