| - The Legacy of Xilar is a process that separates the races and makes them wage war among themselves and beyond, using lies and deception, and creation's weakness. Xilar, its creator and namesake, roughly described his actions: "A single falsehood carefully nurtured can bring down an empire. We however had not told a single falsehood, on the contrary we had woven a web of deceit so elaborate it could destroy entire worlds." Mentioned in one of the books in the Temple of Hope's library (it is important to note that The'Galin's intentions were misinterpreted by Xilar, though):

Xilar, its creator and namesake, roughly described his actions: "A single falsehood carefully nurtured can bring down an empire. We however had not told a single falsehood, on the contrary we had woven a web of deceit so elaborate it could destroy entire worlds." Mentioned in one of the books in the Temple of Hope's library (it is important to note that The'Galin's intentions were misinterpreted by Xilar, though): “When The'Galin found a Silari Drakel called Xilar, The'Galin trained him as an tool of war. Xilar then proceeded to spark war between Drakel and Moglins, turn the Githari against the land, and turn the elements against one another. Next, Xilar spread the lie that the Elemental Lords were at war to cause chaos. Xilar tried to make the people believe that Creation is evil, and convinced many Brilhado to join him. Xilar sent undead to atack the Temple of Light. He sent wind dragons to hunt the Githari to rule the skies alone.” Falerin Ardendor mentions, in The Evil of Omega, that Omega wants to continue the Legacy of Xilar. Indeed, Ryuusei Cartwright worked towards the separation of Unity, most notably in Paxia: Abducting the eight Clan Leaders, he thrust the territory into chaos as rumors spread on every side—that one of the clans was responsible and was hiding its own leader in order to hide its guilt—and caused a war between Unity and those who stand by their Clans. Though the side of Unity won the conflict, the General said that they had won as the leaders chose to separate.
