Meaghan Mikkelson (born January 4, 1985) is a member of the 2009–10 Hockey Canada national women's team and also plays for the Edmonton Chimos. Mikkelson also won a gold medal during the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Her father, Bill Mikkelson, played four seasons in the NHL in the early 1970s with Los Angeles, the New York Islanders and Washington. Her brother, Brendan, was a Memorial Cup champion with the WHL’s Vancouver Giants and currently plays for the Anaheim Ducks.
