Jeho syn se stal kapitánem imperiálního loďstva a velitelem hvězdného destruktoru Dauntless. Roku 137 PBY ho Darth Maladi využila při pokusu o infiltraci Bastionu a vraždu císaře Fela. Vikar Dorn přiletěl na palubě destruktoru svého syna k Bastionu pod záminkou setkání s Roanem Felem. Předstíral úmysl poskytnout své služby a jednotky Felovu impériu. Na palubě lodi však přivezl sithského vraha Darth Kruhla. Fel ale zradu očekával a Sith v souboji zabil. Dorn pak byl přinucen nechat Dauntless přistát a posádku vylodit.
