Gage Whitney Pace was a law firm that represented Alan Tanner during Day 7. It was the second largest law firm in Washington, D.C. After Tanner was injured and captured, he contacted his lawyers at Gage Whitney Pace. While he recovered at the hospital, Renee Walker went to Tanner's room to interrogate him. During the interrogation, Walker tortured Tanner into revealing information. As she was doing so, she sent Janis Gold to distract the lawyers that had just arrived. When they realized that Renee had locked herself with Tanner, a nurse tried to open the door. When they saw Renee walk out, the lawyers tried to stop her, but she ignored them. - The law firm of Gage Whitney Pace is located in midtown Manhattan and is the second-largest law firm in New York. Sam Seaborn worked there before he joined the Bartlet campaign. Dwight Mothman the former Attorney General under Republican President Owen Lassiter worked at the firm when it was just Gage Whitney, before he moved over to the Justice Department Gage Whitney Pace was also mentioned in Aaron Sorkin's Studio 60, Rob Lowe's show Lyon's Den and by character Janis Gold (played by Janeane Garofalo) in 24 and is the "second-largest law firm in D.C."
