Danny Boxall is a former defender who played for Rovers between 2002 and 2004. He joined on a free transfer from Brentford and played 63 league games for Rovers, 71 in all competitions, without scoring a goal. Danny's career was hampered throughout by injuries, and it was a knee injury that caused him to retire from professional football in 2004, at the age of 27. After his retirement Danny turned to modelling as a career, and he continued playing non-league football until the end of 2008, when he hung up his boots permanently.
