| - Shinji Uchiha is a ukenin or missing-nin from the Lost Lands. His original village was the Village Hidden in the Crystals, and he was known to be a rebelious ninja. During Naruto Saga of the Shadow, he fought alongside Hikaru "Shadow" Kurosaki against a group of Wood and Sound ninja. He uses ninjutsu of Fire and Earth elements. His signature jutsu are, Earth Style: Crystal Freeze and Fire Style: Volcanic Crystalization. He left the Hidden Crystal Village because he was considered untrustworthy when he was found smuggling Cyber Crystals, a rare mineral only found in his village that gave the user incredible power, to Mokugakure and the Hidden Time Village, during the war. He was banished from his homeland, but not without a fight. He gathered a group of Wood and Crystal ukenin and tried to overthrow the Crystal village. He failed and left the Lost Lands completely. Before he left, Kaien Uchiha, his best friend and his cousin, tried to stop him from leaving. Shinji said that he had no place among people who hated him. Kaien tried to convince him otherwise, but Shinji turned around and killed him immediatly. Kaien was shattered at what Shinji did, and he cursed his name till he breathed no more. Shinji couldn't believe what he had done. From that experience, he gained a Mangekyo Sharingan, and a sense of apathy. He later joined up with the Akatsuki, and helped Sasuke to overtake the Hidden Stone Village. He also attacked the Hidden Mist, but was unsuccessful to overtake the village. He also met Ryun Uchiha without his Akatsuki uniform and taught him some of his jutsu. Ryun asked him where he was from, but he said that he didn't want to talk about his past with him. He left Ryun, and returned to the Akatsuki base in the Land of Earth. He heard that Sasuke was going to attack the Hidden Leaf and finally destroy it. Shinji then noticed that Ryun was part of Akatsuki. He tried to keep his Uchiha identity secret from everyone there. He later surveyed the entire Stone village wondering what he would do next if he left Akatsuki. Ryun showed up and asked him if he was a new member in Akatsuki. Shinji was uncertain if he should answer him or not. Ryun smiled and said that it was his job to test all new members in Akatsuki. Shinji shrugged his shoulders and said he didn't have time to waste on a brat who always shoots his mouth off to everyone. Ryun said that he would kill him if he said something like that again. Shinji laughed and said that he didn't seem like any threat to him. He left Ryun with disgust at this little upstart. Later when he left the Akatsuki base in the Land of Earth, he headed toward the Akatsuki base in the Wood Province in the Lost Lands. He met up with Ryun Uchiha and they fought to the death. Shinji died from the battle saying that the Mangekyo Sharingan Ryun would steal from him would curse his Rin'negan. Shinji appeared to die, but he actually avoided the battle. He made an actual clone of himself in the Hidden Wood. He apparently is advanced at alchemy and cloning. He sent the clone to fight Ryun to test his abilities. He saw that the clone was destroyed through some Crys-Cams, a specialized device made from Cyber Crystals. He then left to the Shadow Province, the location of Kagegakure 2. When the Hidden Crystal heard that Shinji was killed, they were in deep remorse. They had recently found ot that Shinji was actually smuggling Cyber Crystals to the Land of Ice, a group of islands located south of the Lost Lands. They were an ally to the Crystal vilage, so Shinji was banished for nothing. They also found that a Time Ninja, loyal to the army that usurped the main government in the Shadow Province, assasinated an elder in the Crystal village, and took over the position.
