- Maxie worked at the Atomic Cafe in Nevada, USA around 1957. Jimmy Keegan considered Maxie to have weak coffee.
- Maxie gets a visit from Parker who wants him to hire Wanda Lamour (Lady Penelope) a very provocative singer at the Paradise Peaks Hotel. Maxie informs him he is running a big agency here and can't just send out to Paradise Peaks a singer he's never even heard of. He soon changes his mind when Parker informs him that he recently meet Punchy Patterson, who happened to mention he still has unfinished business. - Maxie is the leader of Team Magma. In Sapphire, he and his team are good guys and the player's ally to help stop Team Aqua, led by Archie. In Ruby, he and his team try to expand the land by summoning Groudon.

- Of what's been seen, Maxie seems very softspoken and gentle. Very polite, he also appears to be easily interested when others tell him stories. From what has been said of his kind and the name of his Sugar Grinder attack, it can be presumed that Maxie loves sweet things. Finally, he appears easily distressed if he thinks that he's let others down or put them in danger.

- In school, Maxie was a loner because nobody liked his ideas of having fun (burning down the school and Hyrule Castle). He was friends with Archie and Tabitha, the latter he trapped in the friendzone. His grades were awful and he always got in trouble for setting small fires in the dorms and sleeping in class. Maxie went to Hoenn U where he took public speaking, philosophy, and modern art because they were all easy, yet he always failed because he was always partying. If there was anything he was good at, it was cheating in drinking games, something that always confounded Archie.
