| - Very early in its history, Otherspace was divided into three distinct regions: The Stellar Consortium, the Parallax, and the Fringe. All worlds, and all players, were part of one of these three regions. This remained true right up through the departure of Sanctuary and the start of Arc VI. The Fringe was the region wedged between the other two, far larger and more powerful areas. It had no organized government, but was known to be under the sway of Lord Fagin, the Pirate King, from his headquarters on Tomin Kora. As a frontier region with no organized military presence, it was a known haven for pirates, smugglers, theives, and those who did not wish to be found. The worlds of the Fringe included [[Tomin Kora (Classic Journeys Era)|Tomin Kora, Ungstir, Quaquan, Val Shohob, and Odari.
