- Fire Bug appears in the video game Goof Troop, as the boss of the Pirate Village level.
- A robotic monster that can manipulate fire. Double Face and Fact had created a chemical that when mixed with water will form a toxic mist that takes over the minds of whoever breathes it. In the event that Dex traces the toxic mist to the factory, Double Face prepared Fire Bug to fight him. When the Stewarts were at the community pool for the day, everyone but Dex got affected. Dex transformed into Masked Rider and used Magno to trace the mist back to the source. Dex engaged Fire Bug at the factory. Fire Bug dragged Dex into a room where it started a fire. Dex transformed into his Super Gold form making him immune to the heat. After breaking out of the room, Dex destroyed Fire Bug with his Ecto-Ray and stopped the gas flow. Fits the theme of Cycloptor's monsters.
- A Fire bug is a dangerous little bug that dwells in the caves of apeball land. If this bug spots a potenial threat it will run and hide, but if you manage to sneak up on one of these little guys and catch it your life will get a lot more deadly. If you try and use it or just take it out of your inventory it will make you a human torch just ask Xaq from the future. He would know. ("Xaq to the Future")
- The Fire Bug was Orson Arson, a disgruntled special effects and pyrotechnics coordinator for Century Studios. After he was canned, he put on the Fire Bug costume and became a serial arsonist. The Fire Bug costume could emit flames from the antennas on the head. It is unclear if the suit actually allowed Orson to fly. His is responsible for the death of the parents of Kit Weston (AKA Black Kitten). He was eventually tracked down by the Black Cat and Kit. After a brief fight he ultimately chose to leap to his death into a fire, unafraid of the flames.
- Fire Bug appears in the tower of Goosebump Manor, where they were captured by Scratch the Spider. Scratch however refuses to eat them because they are too hot and they want to eat moths instead. While Super Moshi tries to figure out how to get moths, Fire Bug shouts from their web trap, requesting help by giving them something hot so that they have the strength to break free. You feed them Hot Sauce and they burst out of their trap onto which you catch them in the air. Super Moshi uses them to light up the various pumpkin which attract the moths and makes way for Scratch to eat them.
