Minis from the Haruhi Suzumiya continuum take the form of mini-Celestials. A full-sized Celestial is a translucent blue giant with three red "eyes" that appears inside closed space whenever Haruhi's emotions become dangerously unstable. Inside closed space, Celestials go on a rampage, smashing objects and toppling buildings. The more objects the Celestials destroy, the bigger the closed space grows. Celestials are usually dealt with by espers in the Haruhi-verse before the closed space can grow too large. When the Celestials are destroyed, the closed space collapses.

So far, there has only been one recorded case of a mini-Celestial, namely "miss Assihina," encountered by Agents KF and MFPC in "The Distress of Haruhi Suzumiya." Sadly, miss Assihina was destroyed when the Words mentioned a "mini explosion," and there have as yet been no further mini-Celestials found.
